Online and
Offline Marketing
Marketing is all about being creative to
maximize results within a set of objectives and budget.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that
the only way to get traffic to your website is to come
up on Google's first page. Not true! (Granted, that
helps, but let's face it: not everyone can come up in
the top 10 listing for their primary search terms.) If
you don't have the budget to simply buy (PPC)
your way to the top, there are other ways to get traffic
to your site (including
Organic
SEO).
There is a lot more to marketing your
business than a website. Does all your print material
match your website? Do you follow up with customers for
additional services? Do you provide any retail
merchandise? What about signage or billboards? What
about striking up relationships with other businesses
who could refer business to you? Are you overlooking the
simple things like putting custom screen savers on
office computers or putting your logo on a mouse pad as
a give-away? Or if you don't have computers in your
offices, what about a simple, well-designed 8.5x11
glossy stand-up?
Not all marketing has to involve huge
budgets. A lot of our ideas can be implemented for
little or even no cost. And for larger scale campaigns,
we can also put together targeted mailing lists (email
or physical addresses) to put flyers or ads out to
local, regional or national recipients.
